Uniting the Antioch churches in the SoCal region to catalyze every person for local and global mission.

At World Mandate LA, you can look forward to powerful encounters with God in worship, hear incredible teaching and testimonies of how God is moving in the world, and learn how you can join in God’s mission in the earth, right where you are.

This year’s theme is THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.

We gather because Jesus is the Light of the World. He is our source, our hope, and the One who calls us out of darkness and into His light. As we encounter Him together, we are invited not only to receive His light, but to carry it into our neighborhoods, our region, and the ends of the earth.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

MATTHEW 5:14-16

He is committed to leading the church to consistently say “yes” to Jesus through discipleship, pastoral care, and corporate exhortation. He is an infectious diseases physician at UCLA doing research in molecular immunology, and his passion is to see God glorified in all spheres of his life. She is passionate about joining God in shaping theology and forming hearts of His people, to see the church live in God’s Presence and mission through the unity and power of Spirit and Word. Kathryn received her MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary. They, along with their two children, Kara and Oliver, reside in West LA.

Jason and Monica have been a part of Antioch since 2008 and have had the privilege of both seeing and being a part of the Kingdom of God advanced in Waco and around the world. Rooted in Isaiah 58:12, they are passionate about seeing lives and this community restored through the love and power of Jesus. Monica is a dedicated nurse at Providence Hospital, and together we have five children and three grandchildren.

John Lo

John has been pastoring since 1990. In 2003, He and his wife Evelyn planted Epicentre Pasadena with the desire to plant a church that would plant churches locally and globally. Since that time Epicentre has planted 4 churches in the LA region, and has raised up, sent and is supporting church planters in Africa, Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He has an MDiv and DMin from Fuller Seminary and serves on Fuller’s Church Planting Board. He is a Board Member of the Clergy Community Coalition, a group of Pasadena pastors that meets monthly with city leaders to pray for the city and work on solutions for the prospering of the city. He is passionate about igniting and discipling the next generations of leaders and has a deep desire to the help the church of Pasadena minister more deeply to the city and people of Pasadena. John lives in Glendale with his wife Evelyn. They love Hawai’i and good sushi.

We believe the light shines brightest when we shine together. Jesus did not call us merely to be individual lights, but to be a city on a hill, a people whose collective witness is on display that others may see and glorify God.
