GENERAL SCHEDULE
BREAKOUTS
Praying Powerfully (Mark Speeter - Hillside Chapel): We need to cultivate prayer lives that are bold, consistent, and effective in pushing out darkness and building the Kingdom of God in our homes, workplaces, schools, and cities. Come and learn how to truly partner with the Holy Spirit in prayer, building boiler rooms that fuel God’s work.
We are Sojourners (Chris Rattay and Jonathan Fung an immigration lawyer - Downstairs, Room 125 “Senior High”): A conversation around immigration and how we can love our neighbors. What does the Scripture actually say about immigration and how we live both in service to immigrants but also honoring the laws of the land? How can we practically serve immigrants that are living in our cities?
Living on Mission Where You Are (Enrique Melendez, Quen and Kathryn Cheng - Main Sanctuary): Awaken to the everyday movement of God. We will explore a model of holistic mission (encounter-explore-empower-establish) that equips us as ordinary people to live as sent ones right where we are.
Taiwan Church Planting Initiative (John Lo, Joshua Ogaldez and Team - Downstairs, Room 132 “Young Adult”): Learn where we are as Antioch SoCal in planting a church in Taiwan and different ways to be involved, including praying, giving, and going.
Acts of Mercy and Antioch Justice Ministry (The Terndrups - Downstairs, Room 152 “Shalom”): Learn what Acts of Mercy and Antioch Justice Ministry has been doing in seeing trafficking victims in SE Asia released from the Scam Centers and how these principles can be applied here in our backyard.
Community Transformation Catalysts (Timothy Jang and Sergio Vera - Downstairs, Elementary Room “Galilee Chapel”): How can we take practical steps as individuals and local churches to bring transformation in our cities? From serving the most marginalized on the streets to influencing systems to honor God’s heart, come and learn how Jesus is calling all of us, in the diversity of our gifts, to build his holistic Kingdom in Los Angeles.
